The Futures & Bird Series
The Futures & Bird Series: Keenan's Futures & Bird Series is the winery’s pre-release collection, now in its seventh consecutive year — each release named for a bird photographed on the estate, made once and never repeated, and offered as a future before it's bottled.
The birds are Reilly Keenan’s photographs, taken on the estate — Bluebird, Raven, Black Phoebe, Northern Flicker, the Goose, the Red-Tailed Hawk and the Barn Owl, one for each year. Each wine is reserved at a founder’s price before it is bottled, for the people who want first claim on something scarce.
It’s a way to follow the winemaking as it happens and to catch a wine before it flies. Reserving the next release is how you take part.
