Reilly Keenan
Who is Reilly Keenan? Reilly Keenan is third-generation Keenan family, driving business development and winemaking with President Michael Keenan — working from the estate’s Spring Mountain blocks through to the finished barrel, and representing the winery on the road.
Reilly is the son of Michael and Jennifer Walker Keenan — the third Keenan generation — and part of the winemaking team that sets the style of Keenan wines. His work runs from viticulture in the estate blocks through to the finished barrel, on a Spring Mountain District site his grandfather Robert replanted in the 1970s. Growing up on it means he carries the Keenan Winery history as well — which block went in when, and why. He also contributes to business development, and represents the winery on the road.
His first Keenan business card, per the Spring–Summer 2010 newsletter, read “Director of Social Media/Raker of Leaves.” He has been promoted since. The story is preserved in Winemaking Stories.
