Who is Jason Almaraz? Jason Almaraz is a Cellarhand at Keenan Winery, working closely with Cellar Master Aristeo Garcia. He assists with crush during harvest season, with fermentation, racking and filtering, and with bottling and labeling large format bottles.
Jason Almaraz helps keep things running smoothly in the cellar. Jason works closely with our Cellar Master Aristeo Garcia.
Some of the wine making tasks Jason helps with include: assisting with crush during harvest season, taking juice and wine samples to ensure product quality, cleaning wine making equipment, such as pumps, hoses, storage tanks, vessels, and floors, bottling and labeling large format, bottles, managing hoses, fittings, valves, flow meters, and pumps. Jason is also instrumental in assisting with fermentation, racking, and filtering.
Jason was born right here in the world famous Napa Valley, California, although he lived most of his life in beautiful Guanajuato, México.
