Who is Ben Gardner? Ben Gardner is a part-time Cellarhand at Keenan Winery. He grew up on the Spring Mountain estate alongside his father, General Manager Matt Gardner, and returned to the cellar after a year working and traveling through the wine regions of Australia.
Raised among the vines of Spring Mountain, Ben Gardner grew up on the Keenan Winery estate, learning the cadence of Napa Valley winemaking alongside his father, long-time General Manager Matt Gardner. After a year abroad on an extended vineyard and travel adventure through Australia — exploring coastal terroirs and gaining fresh perspective on world-class viticulture — Ben has returned to Spring Mountain. He serves as a part-time cellarhand, bringing hands-on harvest energy, a deep roots-level knowledge of the property, and a dynamic global perspective back to the family estate.
