Join Me At Parc Bistro-Brasserie In San Diego For A Winemaker Dinner
This month I’ll be in your neighborhood, at Parc Bistro-Brasserie in San Diego for great conversation, winemaking stories, and a delicious five course menu, carefully paired with our mouthwatering Keenan wines.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to get to learn the back stories about the wines, indulge in spectacular food and wine pairings, while having a relaxed, fun evening out in a delightful location.
I hope you’ll join me for this intimate event…
A Note from Laura about Keenan's Winery Events
I always remind our guests about Keenan’s winery events, when they tell me how sad they are not to live closer to the winery. There’s always something interesting coming up, whether the visitor’s from Dallas, Boston, New Orleans, San Diego; closer to home like Oakland or San Francisco; or far away in a small town I’ve never heard of in Georgia, Oklahoma or Illinois. (And, if you don’t see an event in your town, but want one — be sure to send us a note or post a message on Facebook and let us know!
As you know, Keenan Winery is located in the spectacular Mayacamas mountains, just above the picturesque town of Saint Helena, CA in the world famous Napa Valley. But, even if you can’t make it out for our most famous of winery events–the annual Keenan Open House–there are a number of other awesome winery events every year where we come to you. Keenan Winery owner and president Michael Keenan, and sometimes his son Reilly Keenan, travel around the state of California, the United States and occasionally even as far as China, to visit directly with wine enthusiasts around the world. When Michael (or Reilly) come to visit a town near you, they will often times attend a wine festival, a food and wine extravaganza or a special tasting event. They will bring our latest releases, pour tastes for fans and curious alike, and tell about the grape growing process, winemaking, cellar aging and bottling.
Another wonderful way to taste quintessential Keenan Winery events, until your next (first?) visit to the winery: a winemaker dinner. These tend to be delightfully intimate affairs. There will be a small group of guests attending. (Usually just as interesting as you!) And, inevitably, a local chef or restauranteur will serve a wonderful tasting menu with fresh, seasonal ingredients to compliment our new world wines made in the Bordeaux style.
Winemaker dinners are a great place to rub elbows with some of your wine-loving neighbors, ask Michael Keenan questions about the wines, mingle over amazing food and wine pairings. Michael will provide unique insight into, and back-story for, the wines. These winery events will be relaxed, friendly and fun. Because, after all, who doesn’t love awesome food, wine and conversation? You can’t go wrong! Note: winemaker dinners do have limited seats, and often times sell out, so make your reservations in advance.
Whether it’s a big wine and food festival, or a cozy, winemaker dinner with Michael, we hope you’ll join us for one of our winery events.

P.S.: At the end of the last wine maker dinner, one person said to Michael, “…I learned more about your wines tonight than ever before!”
