Message I just joined the wine club and received my first shipment of the Cab. Thank You! On another note, I travel to Napa at least 4x a year. When I first started going years ago, I was the type that joined all the wine clubs (J. Phelps, Flora Springs, Trefethen, Ch St Jean, etc). My Fed Ex guy was in the best shape of his life b/c he was delivering so much wine to me. I quickly tired of the high prices, every other month shipments and across-the-board variety (sorry, not a white drinker.) I canceled all my wine clubs and vowed to never do them again. About a year ago, there was a winery that completely changed my mind. Robert Keenan has found the Holy Grail: terrific wine, reasonable prices and the best customer service I have ever encountered at a winery. Some of my favorite wineries are on Spring Mtn (Cain, Pride, Smith-Madrone and B&H) but the folks at Keenan set the bar. For a guy that has been fortunate to be on the allocation lists for Harlan, Sine Qua Non, and Bryant, it would be easy for me to be bragging about those wines. But I don't. Instead, I am telling everyone I know to jump on the Keenan bandwagon. In fact, my mom is getting a year of Keenan's club in her Xmas stocking. This brings me full circle to your vineyard. I am the first to admit (and embarrassingly so) that I had never heard of Buehler until a friend (and now I like him even better!) shared a bottle of the 03 Zinfandel. All I can say is WOW! ! But while I was blown away by the wine, I was even more impressed with your value/price ratio (on all your wines) and the ease of doing business. Little did I know, that only a week after i joined the wine club, my first shipment arrived. I rarely write letters like these but then again I rarely have a group of people that so thoroughly exceed my expectations like the folks at Keenan and now your winery. Keep up the great work....you now have a customer for life!
